Entrepreneurship Academy at the East County Chamber of Commerce in El Cajon; course begins September 29 and meets for 6 weeks from 1:30pm to 4:30pm on Thursday (additional dates to be announced). The San Diego SBDCs presents this step-by-step guide for starting your business, making money, and achieving your goals! This unique workshop series will guide you, step-by-step, how to get your business started in just six weeks. The classes cover technology, legal issues, hiring employees, and much more. Get your business idea, up and running. Week 1: Lay the Foundation Week 2: Get the Info You Need Week 3: Cut Through Red Tape Week 4: Take Care of Operations Week 5: Deal with Money Issues Week 6: Open Your Doors Participants will also receive 2 hours of one-on-one counseling with an expert SBDC advisor. Participants must attend all 6 workshops in order to be eligible for a certificate. Following registration you will receive a mandatory survey that must be completed to determine if you are eligible for the fee waiver.
