DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, November 30th\, 2023\, the San Diego Regional East County Chamber of Commerce with the Veterans East County Alliance (VECA) program will be launching its Inaugural Veterans Awards Luncheon of Recognition (VALOR) event at Jamul Casino. In 2021\, VECA was created to honor and support All Veteran-Owned and Veteran-Friendly Businesses in East County and the San Diego region. Hundreds of existing Veteran-Owned Businesses operate in East County and the San Diego region which can benefit through VECA's resources and connectivity for business development\, mentorship\, and strategic planning. There are many great supportive resources for our Veterans\, however few focuses to encourage and uplift our Veteran business leaders and entrepreneurs\, this is where VECA fills the gap. VECA meets monthly to offer business resources\, engaging mixers\, workforce seminars\, yearly provides leadership scholarships and chamber grants to increase Veteran business success.\n\nTo continue VECA'S mission for Veterans to "Soar to Succeed "in the San Diego community\, we are partnering with Jamul Casino to acknowledge challenges\, hard work\, and accomplishments with the VALOR event. A portion of the VALOR proceeds will be given to VECA's Military Food Bank and workforce seminars for the Veteran community.\n\nIf you would like to expand your contribution and involvement\, we invite you to showcase your business\, or self\, with sponsorship or donation to our raffle.
