DESCRIPTION:Since 1955\, El Cajon has selected a Citizen of the Year.  The 2008 honoree is Kirk Gentry\, Vice President and Branch Manager at North Island Credit Union.  Kirk is the Immediate Past Chair of the San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce and the El Cajon Economic Development Corp.  Kirk also has led Communities Against Substance Abuse in El Cajon.\n\nKirk will be honored at a special luncheon\, co-chaired by the El Cajon Rotary and the El Cajon Valley Lions Club.  The luncheon will be held at noon on Monday\, February 23\, 2009 at the Ronald Reagan Community Center.  To make reservations call the Chamber at (619) 440-6161.
