DESCRIPTION:Foodie Fest is a community food festival promoting the City of El Cajon's restaurant and food services industry. This event will celebrate our diverse community\, support a major local non-profit organization and bring visitors new and old to Downtown El Cajon. The event will be hosted on Saturday\, October 9th from 4:00-8:00 pm in the Downtown El Cajon area around Prescott Promenade and Centennial Plaza near El Cajon City Hall.\n\nThe San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce will feature up to 40 restaurants\, catering services and food trucks providing tasters for all ticket holders. These local businesses will feature an array of dining options to satisfy any palate\, with everyone sure to find something they will love. You may just discover your new favorite place to eat!\n\nThe Downtown El Cajon Business Partners will feature live music and free entertainment for all. The St. Madeline Sophie Center will provide free arts and crafts for all ages.
