DESCRIPTION:The National Day of Giving is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving called Giving Tuesday.\n\n \n\nLakeside's River Park Conservancy will be partnering with #GivingTuesday as a local Charity of Choice.  \n\n \n\nLakeside's River Park Conservancy is working to preserve the San Diego River by acquiring and restoring land\, creating and maintaining a public trail\, building the first San Diego River Science Field Station\, and improving water quality in the area.  \n\n \n\nEveryone knows Black Friday\, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday have become days that are synonymous with holiday shopping after Thanksgiving.  #GivingTuesday\, our National Day of Giving\, will inspire people to take action to improve their local community and help preserve on of San Diego's greatest resource.\n\n\n\n"Giving Tuesday proves that the holidays can be about giving and giving back.  It celebrates how we can do more with our wallets than just shop" said Cindy Collins\, Membership and Volunteer Manager for Lakeside's River Park Conservancy.
