SUMMARY:Ocean Love Reception & Anniversary Party - East County Art Association
DESCRIPTION:Celebrating Art\, Connecting Communities Since 1986\n\nThe East County Art Association (formerly the El Cajon Art Association) was established in 1986 with a vision to connect people through the power of art. Over the decades\, we've grown into a respected nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) status\, serving as a hub for creativity\, connection\, and community.\n\nOn June 20th\, 2025\, we joyfully celebrate 5 years since opening our gallery on Main Street. We first opened our doors on February 5th\, 2020 just weeks before the world changed. The pandemic forced us to close for two and a half years\, but through the unwavering support of our members\, artists\, collectors\, and community\, we have not only endured\, we have thrived.\n\nAs the current president since 2019\, I am humbled and grateful to witness the growth and resilience of our organization. It's because of an incredible team and a community that believes in art's power to heal\, inspire\, and unite that we continue to serve and grow.\n\nThis celebration is also a time to honor the incredible individuals who stood with us from the beginning:\n\n\n	\n	Richard Ybarra One of our longest-standing members and a highly respected photographer in East County. It's an honor to have him in our organization.\n	\n	\n	Annette Cirillo Our devoted secretary for over 5 years. A loving creator of functional resin art\, she's been a pillar of our mission.\n	\n	\n	Walter Lacayo Our dedicated treasurer since 2020\, whose work behind the scenes has ensured our grant processes and financial documentation are always in order.\n	\n	\n	Carol Perrington A master pastel artist and workshop leader\, Carol has been with us for over 4 years\, generously sharing her skills and talents.\n	\n	\n	Elle Arnot A remarkable artist and community advocate for over 20 years and a member of our organization for over 5 Years. Elle has always stepped up when help was needed\, and her contributions are deeply appreciated.\n	\n\n\nThese members and many others have helped shape who we are today. Thanks to them and all of you\, we now have 65 active members and continue to grow.\n\nPlease join us on June 20th for this milestone celebration! We'll have live music\, special guests\, delicious hors d'oeuvres\, and heartfelt recognitions for our members. Space is limited\, so don't wait reserve your spot now and help us continue making a difference through art.\n\nWith love and gratitude\,\n\nLinda Baltodano\n\nPresident\, East County Art Association\n\nYour donation and presence mean the world to us.
