Mr. Ruis comes from a family with ties back to the early days of El Cajon\, even before corporation.\n\n\n\nMr. Ruis's grandfather served as a Federal U.S. Marshall in the area in 1910 and was a constable as well.  Dick himself recalls shinging shoes on the steps of the Knox Hotel at its original Main St. location.\n\n\n\nDick will share stories and photos in a casual conversation with history buffs.\n\nAll Welcome.
