DESCRIPTION:Stoney's Kids is a locally founded non-profit made up of current and retired educators\, law enforcement officials\, businesspersons and community activists\, who are dedicated to bettering life for thousands of underprivileged East County children. The organization has no paid staff\, is volunteer based and boasts a 99% rate of return\, directly to the kids\, of all funds raised. The organizatio has been instrumental in securing funding for everything from scholarships to 6th grade camps\, READ 180 after school programs for elementary school literacy\, Salvation Army Toy and Food Drive\, the Juvenile Justice Diversion Program and the East County Youth Symphony\, to name a few.
