DESCRIPTION:HeART of Mt. Helix - August 15\, 5:30 pm - 10:00 pm\n\nThe event of the summer at the top of the hill is coming up and you won't want to miss this fabulous evening!  Drawing its inspiration from the art colony that settled the area\, the HeART of Mt. Helix is an evening of visual\, performing and culinary arts like no other in the area.  \n\nWhere else can you watch the sun set over the Pacific Ocean and all of San Diego County while sipping a glass of wine and listening to vignettes of music?  \n\nDancing under the stars to the Mar Dels. Tasting appetizers from our favorite local restaurants.  Watching crazy performance artist Chuck McPherson whip up a piece of art to be auctioned off.  Enjoying crafted beer from Ballast Point Brewery.  Silent and live auctions.\n\nThis event has it all.\n\nTickets are $50 for general admission and $100 for reserved table seating.  You also won't want to miss Bubbles and Bling - chance to win a woman's diamond ring or a man's dressy watch from Enhancery Jewelers. These $20 tickets include a special park logo champagne glass filled with a delightful glass of Thornton sparkling wine as well as a chance to win.  \n\nThe event is the major fundraiser for the year for the Mt. Helix Park Foundation.  The foundation owns and operates Mt. Helix Park\, no government funds are used to keep the park open.
