America is celebrating its 250th Independence Day on July 4th, 2026. San Diego 4.0 is honored to celebrate East County's historical journey through a series of Virtual Reality Worlds and Augmented Reality campaigns. Our exploration begins with the 'Get to Know El Cajon' Campaign.

The campaign provides residents, employees, and historical tourists with online courses on El Cajon's innovation journey through the first three industrial revolutions. The four courses explore the social, economic, infrastructural, and educational implications of massive technological disruption.

In addition, the Get to Know El Cajon Campaign is creating five special historical projects honoring our East County's fallen heroes, black innovators, the Viegas tribe, the Sycuan Tribe, and the Jamul Tribe.

Join us on August 13^th to learn about the Get to Know El Cajon Fallen Heroes campaign. Our campaign will tell the stories of El Cajon's brave men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice for the "Future of El Cajon." We honor their stories through Virtual Reality Worlds and Augmented Reality campaigns throughout the city.
