Description
Mind & Body Master Classes promote physical, emotional, and mental health within a compassionate community. These classes will explore ways to develop a deeper relationship with our wellbeing and others through engaging conversations, experiential practices, and learning practical tools for daily life. Led by an inspiring community of teachers, coaches, and speakers.
In this workshop we will introduce the background of mantra music, storytelling, and the connection of these practices to the Yoga we practice on the mat. We will explore the benefits of Sound and chanting and do a gentle practice to the flow of the most ancient chant. Participants will be invited to experience sound meditation, listen to some mantra music, and learn a chant.About the Instructor:
Pam Badger is a Certified Yoga Instructor with almost 20 years of teaching experience. Her teaching style is relaxed and playful while attending to proper alignment and safe practice. At The Garden, Pam leads a gentle yoga class on Wednesdays which students affectionately call “sloth yoga” alluding to the speed and laid-back temperament of the practice. Pam is also an avid gardener of succulents and sits on the board of the San Diego Cactus and Succulent Society.
