McAlister Institute provides professional services that heal the lives of individuals and families, improving the quality of life in communities through the miracle of recovery.

Services
McAlister Institute provides a comprehensive range of substance abuse treatment, recovery, and supportive services. Together, McAlister Institute’s 24 programs represent a continuum of care that spans prevention and education, outreach, intervention, outpatient treatment, short-term and long-term residential care, aftercare, and sober living.

Our Philosophy
- McAlister Institute believes that each individual has a positive purpose in life and that clients can recognize their strengths and regain their lives through recovery. Although each client is responsible for his or her recovery, it is a life-long process requiring a community of support. Toward this end, McAlister Institute helps build the foundation for recovery through intervention, counseling, mental health services, and community referrals.
- Those who are in recovery provide strong models for hope and change. McAlister Institute staff–who represent over 1,000 years clean and sober–form a caring, safe, and supportive environment where clients can begin the healing process.
