Volunteer Opportunities

Habitat Work - Join us the first Saturday of every month from 9 am to 12 pm for a Habitat Work day! Enjoy a fulfilling day of gardening to help maintain the diverse plant life in the Park


Events - Come volunteer behind the scenes at all of Mt. Helix Park's events! Our biggest event of the year is the Food and Wine Festival. This exciting event has many different opportunities for help!

Adopt a Habitat - Mt. Helix Park has been separated into 45 different plots of land that any members of the community can "adopt". Come take care of your very own piece of Mt. Helix Park by planting native species and weeding invasive ones.

Work Days - Several times a year the park hosts, "Work Days". This is to address the bigger needs of the park such as trail maintenance and mulching. We can always use a helping hand!
