You are  invited to the 10th Annual "Open House Membership Drive: at the German American Societies Club - El Cajon.

This ever so popular Summer event has a way of setting the mood for our upcoming Oktoberfest!  Yes, it’s that time again.  The attached flyer offers detailed information of our Open House.  Please forward it to your family, friends and neighbors!
 
It is the day to catch up on old friendships and making new acquaintances with visitors who attend this happy, fun-filled day for the first time. Our various club committees and under groups welcome you by offering information regarding Membership, the Germania Choir, Karneval, Damenkreis (ladies group) and the Oktoberfest committee! Vendors with their tempting displays, and the German Import Haus specializes in a wide selection of traditional garments to turn you into a true Bavarian! Colorful folk dancers in their native costumes, and our own Kindertanzgruppe will entertain you.
 
This year, we also want you to get to know and hear the famous “Express Band” which entertains us with true “Gemütlichkeit” style in the open air of our cozy Biergarten. Feel free to dance and/or listen to this talented musical group which can take great credit for creating an irresistible ambience that includes traditional German food in the BBQ area and plenty of beer, wine and sodas at our outside bar. To top off your meal, choose from delectable German pastries with coffee. 

You don’t want to wait in line?  Well, this year we have added waitresses to make your day even more comfortable.
