Immigrant entrepreneurs and small business owners and their access to financial capital through New American SBA 101
“Immigrants are twice as likely to start a business, they’re twice as likely to file a patent. Today, immigrants employ 1 out of every 10 employees…. It is important to recognize the contributions that immigrant populations are making.”
SBA Adminstrator Maria Contreras-Sweet SBA Administrator Maria Contreras‐Sweet will give a presentation on New American SBA 101
(in English from 2pm to 3pm) San Diego District Director,
Ruben Garcia will also provide remarks.
Presentations will be given about free mentoring programs,
loans up to $5,000,000 and SBA contracting programs.
