Description
Ethics in Business was started in 1991 as a program of
the San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce and the Grossmont Union High School District Career Technical Education Department. It is the result of a cooperative effort by a consortium of business, education, and community leaders. The program is designed to train the next generation
to become principled leaders. It includes in-class study and teacher-driven curriculum focusing upon what good ethical behavior is, and is supported by the business community with a half-day ethics training workshop at Cuyamaca College for high school juniors and seniors. Through case studies, videos and discussion, Ethics in Business benefits nearly two hundred students each year as they prepare to enter the workplace.
