Event at Newbridge College

Description

Newbridge College staff and students have adopted a charity to support this quarter. We will hold a rummage sale in the parking lot of the Wild West Shopping Center on Friday December 2nd from 11am to 4pm and Saturday December 3rd from 8am to 3pm. All proceeds will be donated to Parent Care. This organization is a non-profit which helps families who are recovering from issues such as substance abuse and striving to become a positive role model for their children. We would like to assist with providing holiday meals and presents for the children and parents who have very little and are trying to get their life back on track. The holiday season is a stressful time, and there are many temptations to go back into old habits, we would like to assist this organization in their efforts this year. As a parent, we all want to be able to give to our children, and the parents at Parent Care are no different. Last year, they did not even have enough resources to be able to give to all children. Please come out and support the efforts in making a difference in the lives of our local children!
