COURSE DESCRIPTION
Are you ready to turn your entrepreneurial dreams into reality? Join us for an interactive and informative series on starting your own business. Whether you're a seasoned professional or a budding entrepreneur, this series is designed to provide you with the practical tools and knowledge needed to launch and grow a successful business. Over four (4) weeks, participants will learn concept development to reduce failure, the necessity of marketing, the importance of financials, and what is needed to establish the business.
Participants who attend all four modules receive a certificate of completion.

- Foundations of Entrepreneurship: Understand the fundamental principles of building a business from the ground up.
- Strategic Planning: Learn how to create a solid business plan that outlines your goals, target market, and financial projections.

In 1973, Jeff opened a retail floor covering store while completing his B.S.B.A. in Accounting and grew the business for the next 23 years eventually becoming the largest single-store flooring retailer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 2000, he accepted a role as vice president of sales and operations for his biggest competitor, a five-showroom retailer/wholesaler where he was able to double revenues over a 12 year period. During brief periods of retirement, Jeff provided volunteer business advising and workshop services to the Coachella Valley SCORE and Women’s Business Center. In 2019, He joined the San Diego Imperial Vally SBDC network and has assisted over 450 clients, many of them on an on-going basis. Jeff continues to express that the work has been extremely gratifying.
