The California Secretary of State is excited to continue the Apostille Pop-Up Shop event series in San Diego County. Throughout the year, the California Secretary of State partners with local county offices to bring in-person Apostille services to a location near you.
What is an Apostille?
An Apostille is a certificate that authenticates the signature of a California public official on a document for use in another country. An Apostille certifies the authenticity of the signature of the California public official who signed the document, the capacity in which that official acted and when appropriate, the identity of the seal or stamp which the document bears, e.g., a notary public seal.
