Sales Rep Position for Outdoor Lifestyle Brand - Kovr Sunscreen

The sales representative will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will already have a strong buyer base and been in business over 3 years. Relationships with outdoor lifestyle stores, sporting goods stores, and previous experience representing a line of sunglasses is beneficial. It’s essential that our sales rep be personable and professional. Travel throughout San Diego County is required.

Objectives of this Role

  • Represent our company’s values and mission
  • Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas
  • Generate leads and build relationships, planning and organizing daily work, calling existing and potential sales outlets
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
  • Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities
  • Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle objections
  • Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers that may include setting up product demos and presentations
  • Coordinate with the founder to ensure company quotas and standards are being met
Skills and Qualifications
  • 3-5 years in sales within a gift/resort/outdoor retail setting
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, problem-solving
  • Proficiency with sales management software and/ or spreadsheets
  • Ability to travel at least 25% of the time to store locations and events
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proven success rate at levels above quotas

Traditional commission pay of 15% of all Sales
